Standard galvanised maillon. These are commonly
used for rigging pitches, usually at 7mm: we do
not stock this size as we recommend the minimum
breaking strength should be above that of
commonly used bolts and hangers.
The Safe Working Load (SWL) stamped on these
items (usually in lbs) is approximately one quarter
of the breaking strength.
Please note: these products are not CE-marked
and are therefore not approved for Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE). We strongly
recommend that galvanised maillons are not used
as permanent fixtures, particularly if they are
connected to stainless hangers this will accelerate
corrosion and could cause a fatal failure.
