Exhaust systems

Vetus are famous for their wet exhaust systems and supply a wide variety of components suitable for exhausts with internal diameters from 30mm to 300mm.

A Vetus exhaust system may include the following components:
A waterlock will collect the cooling water present in the system if the engine is stopped.
A gooseneck which raises the exhaust hose above the outlet, to prevent water from backfilling the system.
A transom connector which should be fitted above the water line.
Exhaust hose, which is extremely flexible and resistant to heat, exhaust gases and oils.
An air vent may be required if the water injection point on the engine is less than 15cm/6in above the water line.
