Vetus fuel supply / return hoses meet ISO 7840 Marine Fuel A1 standard and have been successfully tested to a fire test of 2.5 minutes and have a low permeability. It is suitable for diesel fuel and petrol (maximum 15% Ethanol).

Vetus fuel filler hose is made of NBR rubber with spiralled steel inlay and is suitable for diesel fuel and petrol (maximum 15% Ethanol). It meets the requirements of SAE J 1527 and ISO 7840 Marine Fuel A2.

The Vetus fuel Splash-Stop also meets ISO 7840 and is fitted directly underneath the deck filler cap. It acts as a trap to prevent fuel over-spilling when being filled, preventing dangerous slippery decks and water pollution.
