There are two types of Vetus propeller shaft seal:

- Type ZWBH with triple lip seal: integrated mono block design, supplied with clamps and hose pillar. This should be lubricated once a year. Available for 25mm, 30mm and 35mm shafts.
- Type ZWB with dual lip seal and a front seal chamber packed with silicon grease. Available for 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, 50mm and 60mm shafts.

The assembly for both types includes a hose tail for connection to a water supply for lubrication, which may either be:
(i) by means of a water scoop kit (see below); or
(ii) by tapping a small amount of water from the engine's raw water cooling system

Vetus self-aligning inner bearings are available in sizes up to 60mm: if you require prices on larger sizes, please contact us by email or phone 01248 811 001. Please note that we only hold stock of the smaller sizes of these inner bearings in the UK and that larger sizes will take 10-14 days for delivery - please contact us if you require delivery within a certain timescale.
