Heat exchanger housing M3 STM6242 Heat exchanger housing for Vetus Diesel M3.09 and M3.28 engines. The diagram shows the original design of heat exchanger: new heat exchangers may differ in appearance, but use the same parts to complete the installation. Please note that the heat exchange is supplied without the filler neck, which should be ordered separately. NEW filler / pressure cap 18-14715- New design filler / pressure caps for all M-Series, P- Series and VH-Series Vetus Diesel engines. Used on new engines since 2019. This cap is used for heat-exchanger cooled engines and keel-cooled engines, regardless of whether they have a calorifier or expansion tank fitted. The cap vents at 1.0 bar and a small length of pipe can be used to drain any coolant overflow into the bilge. This replaces STM9507 and STM1017 (which are no longer available) but MUST be used with the new-design filler neck - please order a filler neck as well if you require one. NEW filler neck 18-14649- New-design filler neck for heat exchanger for all M-Series, P- Series and VH-Series Vetus Diesel engines. Used on new engines since 2019. This version is for all engines, heat-exchanger or keel cooled, regardless of whether they have an expansion tank or calorifier fitted. This replaces STM3750 and STM1515 but MUST be used with the new-style black plastic filler cap.
