Electric ventilators may be used to extract air from a cabin, galley or heads; and may also be used to extract heat from a refrigerator. Three types of Vetus electric ventilator are available.

Type FAN is designed for ceiling mounting and has a very low energy consumption (0.19Amp at 12v). It has near-silent running, so is suitable for use in a cabin at night.

Type TWINLINE is suitable for air extraction from an engine room before the engine is started, for example to remove potentially dangerous vapours.

Type VENT is suitable for use connected to ventilation hose, either for air supply or extraction. It is ignition protected.

This can be used for: - direct mounting to the ventilator to enable 76mm hose to be connected to the outlet; or - mounting to the other side of the bulkhead to enable 76mm hose to be connected to the bulkhead Dimensions Overall dimensions of flange: 120mm x 115mm Connections: 83.3mm / 76mm This adaptor flange is only suitable for the newer VENT7612A and VENT7624A blowers which have an outlet with internal diameter of 82mm - it can not be used with the original version of the ventilator which has a smaller connection. Blower hose 76mm BLHOSE310A Blower hose made from a woven glass fibre fabric impregnated with PVC. Suitable for all Vetus shell ventilators and extraction ventilators. Withstands temperatures between -20°C and +100°C. Internal diameter: 76mm (3 inch) Please note that this is priced and sold per metre, up to a maximum 10m length.
