Vetus make three different types of sender for tank gauges:
- ultrasonic level sensor, which can be calibrated upon installation
- universal sender with sufficient reed contacts to give a full range of readings
- basic sender with hinged arm for fuel tanks

Please note that these sender units may not be compatible with all makes of fuel gauge (including VDO) and if they are to be connected to those types of gauge, a converter interface must be used.
